Safety Detectives: Please share your company background, how you got started, and your mission.
TSFactory: TSFactory was founded in 2005 by Claudio Rodrigues, the first Microsoft MVP, with the intent to market and sell its newly designed remote session recording product, RecordTS. Claudio left TSFactory after a couple of years and eventually I took over managing the company in 2018. TSFactory’s mission is to continue Claudio’s vision of offering world-class enterprise session recording products.
SD: What is the main service your company offers?
TSFactory: TSFactory was the first to offer remote session recording for Windows when server virtualization was in its infancy. Over the years, RecordTS has evolved to become a robust and secure enterprise product, supporting Citrix, VMware, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM, and most any hosting environment.
SD: What is something unique that helps you stay ahead of your competition?
TSFactory: We focus on one aspect of network security and offer advanced enterprise features that our competition simply falls short on. Many customers do not like the idea of putting all their eggs in one basket by investing in a single vendor to supply solutions for their entire network security strategy. RecordTS products offer a simple, affordable security solution for small offices and large enterprise organizations with thousands of endpoints. We can react quickly, usually within days, to customization requests and deployments, bug fixes, and changes in market trends, faster than our competitors can.
SD: What do you think are the worst cyberthreats today?
TSFactory: Data breaches and ransomware attacks due to network security neglect or lack of investment. We see this all the time, where customers are reacting to events when they should have been focusing on shoring up their security plan and practices. If you think cybersecurity is expensive, just wait to see what lack of cybersecurity costs.
